Women's Night Out

Do you enjoy getting together with other women, eating great food, laughing a lot, learning about something new, and spending time in devotions with sisters in Christ? Then Women's Night Out is just for you! We meet on the first Thursday evening of each month from 6:30-8:30 p.m. beginning in October. We meet in a different location each month—usually in someone's home, but sometimes at church. Watch for the location in the weekly church bulletin. The hostess for the evening provides drinks and tableware, and everyone else brings a dish to pass. After eating, we listen to a presentation given on the topic of the evening- sometimes by members of our church and sometimes by others from our community. Following the presentation, or sometimes as part of the presentation, we also share in a time of devotions together.

Even if you have never attended one of these events, even if you don't know anyone who will be going, even if you have no time to make or buy a dish to pass, PLEASE COME!!! The women who regularly attend Women's Night Out are gracious and welcoming, and we would love to have anyone who may be interested join us.

We are excited to offer these new topics this year;

October 4:   House Manager Nina will tell us all about the inner workings of the Wharton Center.
November 1:   Adria Libolt and co-worker Denise Quarles will enlighten us with information regarding their work in the prison systems.
December 6:   Janell Ball will share about her African Mission trip and Diane's (her mom) visit to South Africa in September.
February 7:   Denise Leak will be visiting with us and sharing information that is still to be announced.
March 6:   Pat and Doug Guikema will talk about their work in Disaster Response Services for CRWRC.
April 3:   Master Gardener Joe Post will talk with us about gardening.
May 6:   Char Meyer will entertain us with a bridal fashion show. Young ladies interested in modeling a bridal dress should contact Char.
