You are invited to sing with the River Terrace Adult Choir as we lead the congregation in song at the 9:00 Sunday services. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings, from 6:30-7:45 PM, starting September 6, and on Sunday mornings at 8:15 AM in the Sanctuary. The choir also sings at the Christmas Eve Candlelight services. Our repertoire includes anthems in a variety of styles, as well as hymn concertatos, descants, and other settings of hymns and songs with the congregation.

Healing Hearts Group (formerly Trauma Healing)

Recovering from a traumatic event takes time, and the process is different for each individual. Seeking God’s guidance to help heal all types of trauma can be a powerful tool. You are invited to join us to begin this walk together, learning basic biblical and mental health principles related to healing.

RT University: Amazon Rainforest

Join River Terrace University on Thursday, March 22 for a lunch and learn program. Guest speaker Jeff Simbob will share his experience of his trip to the Amazon Rainforest. He will navigate over 500 miles of the Peruvian Amazon River basin and its tributaries on a voyage to see an amazing variety of animals and birds, rainforests, traditional village life and various watercraft.

Breaking Bread Small Group

9:00 Sunday Service

Our 9:00 AM service features an organ, piano, classic Christian hymns, occasional musical ensembles, songs from the broad tradition of the church, and practical and challenging messages based on the Bible.

Sunday Morning Adult Education: Heaven, Earth, Body & Soul

Join us in the Gym from 10:10-11 AM on Sunday mornings as we continue the series “Heaven, Earth, Body & Soul.” This adult education series explores what it means to live as full people, body and soul, connected to each other and to a creation that was made good but has been affected by human sin and its effects.


March 4: March is Missions Month
Hear about the exciting work of the missionaries RTC supports. We will interact with some of our visiting missionaries, and Pastor Ken will make brief comments on trends in missions today.

March 11: Christians, the Bible, and Psychology
Guest preacher Tyler Greenway will draw from his doctoral studies as a research psychologist to help us understand the field from a Christian perspective.

March 18: The Final Years
Interim Pastoral Care Provider and Chaplain Val VandeHaar will discuss the joys and challenges of ministering to persons in their later years.

March 25: Christians, the Economy, and … what about Bitcoin?
Join us for a discussion with Jeff Biddle, church member and Professor of Economics at MSU, to understand the system we live in from a Christian perspective.

11:15 Sunday Service

Missions Luncheons

The River Terrace Missions Committee is designating March as Missions Month. Join us for lunch as we welcome and fellowship with several of our missionaries from out of town.
