Sermon Details

For the summer our messages are based on the epistle readings from the Revised Common Lectionary. Today’s passage, from the book of Colossians, contains what may be the words to one of the earliest Christian hymns. The hymn is in praise of Jesus Christ as creator and redeemer of the world. Our hymns and litanies in the rest of the service pick up this theme. Together with the church of all ages we lift up our voices in praise of our Lord.
