GROWING EXPANDS LIFE

From our first beginnings in the faith to our last steps, the Christian faith is journey. If we are to be strong for the journey, we need to grow. We need to prepare for the different terrains we might face on our particular path. We need to have a backpack filled with the right items: a compass to keep us on the right path and enough food and water for the day, and a map of places where we can refill our packs. GROW ministries at River Terrace offer all of these: a Bible-centered compass to guide us; classes, small groups, and devotional guides to nourish us, and opportunities for in-depth reflection, disciplehip, and mentoring.

Here are some of the resources River Terrace offers for your journey.

Sunday Morning

The Forum is a large group class that considers a variety of topics, from current events to a study of a book of the Bible. During the month of January, we invite you to hear faith stories from several people in our church community.

During the school year, other classes are offered, usually in discussion format. Recent topics have included Bible studies, parenting children, and how to be faithful teachers and students in a university setting.

Wednesday Evening (Community Night)

Our Wednesday evening begins with a delicious meal, offered at a low price ($5/$2 for kids under 12). After the meal, there are programs for all ages. Join the Discipleship Class or the Beth Moore Bible Study (for women).
