Pastor’s Bible Study Fall/Winter 2018

We will have a Christmas party at our final meeting of the year, December 12.

9:00 AM Sunday Service

worship 9Join us for worship at 9:00 AM Sunday mornings.

Our 9:00 AM service features an organ, piano, classic Christian hymns, occasional musical ensembles, songs from the broad tradition of the church, and practical and challenging messages based on the Bible.

The Greenhouse walk-out program for kids, ages 4-11, meets each  Sunday, about midway through each service.

Nursery care is provided for our youngest ones.

 

 

December Sunday Morning Adult Forum

Join us in the Gym on Sunday mornings between our two worship services for the adult education hour as we learn about creatives.

December 2 – Sarah Arthur, author of A Light So Lovely will host a conversation with Charlotte Jones Voiklis about Madeleine L’engle (Charlotte’s grandmother) and the writing process.

December 9 – Dr. David Stowe, Professor of U.S. Culture Studies at MSU, will share with us the story of Christian music artists from his book No Sympathy for the Devil: Christian Pop Music and the Transformation of American Evangelicalism.

December 16 – Linda Hundt, national pie competition award winner, cookbook author, TV personality, founder and owner of Sweetie-licious Bakery Cafe in DeWitt will share her artistry of baking.

On Sunday mornings, in between our worship services, we offer Sunday School classes for all ages — from preschoolers through retired persons. See specific class information under “CONNECT.”
