Holy Week Journey – March 28, 2021

On March 28, we had a Holy Week Journey for families outside on our River Terrace path. With over 16 volunteers and eight stations, over 50 people got to experience the events between Palm Sunday and Easter. At the end they received a copy of the devotional that accompanies the stations on the path, and an Easter goodie bag!  It was cold and windy but we had a wonderful time. Please enjoy these pictures of the event.

GEMS and Cadets clubs

At home material kits are being used for 1st to 6th grade boys and girls participating in these unique clubs. It’s a great way to encourage your young one to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through devotions and fun at home activities and crafts. We are unable to meet in person at this time, but I can guarantee they will love some of the surprises in their take home activity kits! Some of the awesome counselors from last year are involved, communicating with your kids in a variety of ways, including snail mail, which is ALWAYS fun to receive!

Please check out these videos bout GEMS and Cadets for more information.

If you have any questions or simply want to add your child’s name to the list, please contact Shalom .

Promiseland Nursery

Child care is provided for ages infant through age 4 during all worship services, Sunday classes, and mid-week services, in the Promiseland Nursery on the lower level. Our well-trained workers will help each child feel comfortable, happy, and secure. We believe it is possible to share the love of Christ with children from the day of their birth.

Little Church

Children who are two, three, or four are welcome at Little Church, which is located in the Nursery. Little Church introduces them to God and God’s special stories. Little Church meets during the 9:00 and 11:15 AM worship services.

Where Kids Grow in Christ

The Greenhouse takes what goes on in the adult worship service and modifies it for children with fun, age appropriate activities. Kids learn how to worship at their own level.

All kids, ages 5 through 4th graders, are invited to the Greenhouse. Kids will be dismissed from the Sanctuary just after the Children’s Blessing during the service.
