RTC Kids Who Care

Kids sharing their talents as a way of staying connected to their church and communities.

Contact Shalom if you’d like to participate.

Veronica and Miles P. sing the classic children’s song, Jesus Loves Me, at the outdoor service this past week. Thank you kids, for sharing your talents! You did a beautiful job.

Irene plays Amazing Grace on her violin.

Rachel plays How Deep The Fathers Love For Us on viola.

Eighth grader, Morgan, playing I Will Be Here.

Jacob, grade 4, playing This is My Father’s World on piano.

Today we salute Miles. This young man takes out the trash every week, for an elderly neighbor with a long driveway. Also, during this social distancing time, he made and delivered 11 May Day flower basket surprises to brighten the day of many neighbors! Thank you for your kindness Miles!

High school senior Sophia playing the piano and singing Cornerstone by Hillsong Worship.

Sixth grader Luke playing For the Beauty of the Earth on piano.

Today’s “kid” who cares is actually a young lady named Kyle. She is a senior in high school.

A family friend of theirs who owns a local Chick-fil-A restaurant posted on Facebook that they needed 80 masks for workers. Kyle took on the challenge and hand made over 100, and delivered them. Kyle’s caring and generous spirit shows in many things that she does whether it be singing with the worship ensemble, participating in youth group projects, volunteering for Vacation Bible School, or making masks for those in need.

Today we celebrate you Kyle. Thank you.

Seyheon, age 10, sings Good Good Father by Chris Tomlin.

Fourth grader Veronica plays Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing on her violin, as dad Derek accompanies her.
