River Terrace Church

Welcome!

Our 9:30 AM service is live-streamed and available on our YouTube for viewing at any time. This service features hymns, contemporary praise songs, intergenerational participation, thoughtful worship, and accessibility.

The Greenhouse walk-out program for kids (age 5 – grade 4) meets each Sunday, about midway through the service.

Nursery care is provided for our youngest ones, ages 0-4.

11:00 AM The Well @ RTC: A casual, low-key worship gathering that meets in the gym. All are welcome. Nursery care is provided.

Looking for more information? Talk to a friendly person or  pick up a brochure at the Welcome Center about our various groups and ministries, or, fill out a Connect Card, located in your pew.

If you’re new, we won’t single you out by making you stand up and sing for your supper. Grab a cup of coffee after the services and consider attending one of our multi-generational learning times, offered from 10:45-11:30 AM, from September to May.

We desire to be a welcoming and accessible place of worship. Barrier free seating is available in three locations in the sanctuary. Hearing assistance devices can be checked out at the sound booth. We are also equipped with the T-coil Loop.

What about my kids?

Kids age 5 – grade 4 can attend the Greenhouse walk-out program, which meets each Sunday about midway through the service.

If you have a little one, ages 0-4, they are welcome in the Promiseland Nursery located on the lower level. Sign your child in and give any instructions to one of our skilled and loving workers.

We also welcome babies in our services. If your little one becomes fussy or hungry, there’s a Family Room on the southeast side of the Sanctuary equipped with comfortable chairs, a changing table, and a speaker so that parents can still hear the service while tending to their little ones.

Kids are welcome to join their parents in the Sanctuary.  About mid-way through the service, children, age 5 to grade 4, are invited up for our Children’s Message and are dismissed to go to the Greenhouse. There, they emulate what adults do in the worship service, through song, liturgy, and message, along with additional kid-friendly activities. It’s a great way for them to learn about worship. After the service, parents pick their children up on the lower level. If your child stays in the service, they’re welcome to grab a Praise Pack—a small bag filled with activities—from the back of the Sanctuary.

Are there accommodations for those with disabilities?

Yes, and we have a Disability Advocacy Team that will help with any needs you have.
